Blue/Gold Game – Highlights And Review

Rather vanilla exercise and by all reports no injuries – that’s good. Wimbush looked better, but with the red shirt on you can’t really tell. We’ll know at the Michigan game. I’m not buying all in that his problems are solved. I think he has a lot of Golson in him.

Ian Book looked OK, but also looked like he was trying too hard. He also ran mostly with the 2nd team.

The receivers all looked good. I still have questions with TE Mack, but the other TE’s looked hungrier.

Safety transfer Alohi Gilman was all over the place as was LB Tranquill. I don’t remember seeing much of Coney.

Really liked what I saw from 1st string OL both in the run and pass game. It looks like we have good OL and very quick RB’s. We’ll be ok there. It’s the passing game that really has to come alive.

Other news: Alex Bars LG named the 4th Captain.

New Commits:

OL John Olmstead 6’6″ 305 opted for ND over 34 offers including Michigan.
Safety – Litchfield Ajavon – 4 Star.

Everything about this team will be answered when Michigan comes to town.
