Tommy Rees has been named as ND’s new Offensive Coordinator. A whole slew of former players strongly support his promotion. In addition, RB Coach Lance Taylor has been promoted to Run Game Co-ordinator. In transfer news, Phil Jurkovic signs with Boston College.

It looks like a good fit inasmuch that Taylor was RB coach at Stanford – think Christian McCaffrey and Bryce Love. His big talent is identifying and recruiting good quality players. He also teaches players to be not Only RB’s, but also receivers. His preference is the 2 back set.

Jeff Quinn, Offensive Analyst is now named the Notre Dame Offensive Line Coach. Quinn is 55 yrs old and has a longtime association with Brian Kelly – 20 years. He was the OC and OL coach when the University of Cincinnati won 12 games under Kelly, but lost to Florida in their Bowl Game. You’ll
