Game 1 ND vs Michigan 9/1/18 – Predictions

Let’s start with what Michigan brings to the game. One Jim Harbaugh, who has to be a disappointment so far as his stay has progressed – he was brought in to crush OSU and their corrupted winning coach.

With that in mind, this is a must win game for Harbaugh – far more than Brian Kelly. Harbaugh has been hampered by horrible QB Play. He corrected that with 5 Star Ole Miss QB transfer Shea Patterson.

Patterson is a dual threat QB that impressed Brady Quinn “he can make all the passes”. Quinn was quite impressed with him and Shea brings a more spread threat to the Michigan offense.

Unfortunately, they just lost their star receiver Tarik Black but they did add a 4 Star WR 6’4″ Nico Collins and they have a huge TE 6’8″ 265 Zach Gentry. No matter Michigan has always had a deep roster.

Of more concern is the Michigan defense led by Dr. Blitz Don Brown who Harbaugh lured from Boston College. That pissed me off, I wanted ND to get this guy. Anyhow he blitzes from all over the place and he has 3 excellent DL that will sorely test ND’s new OL.

Just forget all that we’ve got a 40% passer Wimbush so – no worries. Kelly would play Baker Mayfield behind not only Wimbush, but also Golson. What is it that makes the “know it alls” think Kelly is some type of QB guru – all he’s produced is chaos since he got there.

The Michigan defensive game plan is to GET Wimbush every play.
