ND adds 4 Star DE Gordy Sulfsted To 2025 Squad
Excitement is building as the Notre Dame Fighting Irish welcome a new addition to their 2025 Class: Gordy Sulfsted, a standout defensive end from St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. Standing tall at 6’5″ and weighing in at 235 pounds, Sulfsted brings both size and talent to the team. With this commitment, Notre Dame’s recruiting class now boasts 21 promising athletes.
Sulfsted’s decision to join the Irish caps off a competitive recruitment process. He turned down offers from prestigious programs like the Washington Huskies, Wisconsin, Miami, and Iowa among others. His choice speaks volumes about Notre Dame’s appeal and the program’s ability to attract top-tier talent.
In addition Sulfsted’s father played in the NFL so football runs in his family.
Stay tuned for more updates on Sulfsted’s journey and the exciting developments in Notre Dame’s 2025 recruiting class. The future looks bright for the Fighting Irish with rising stars like Gordy Sulfsted leading the charge.
