Notre Dame 45 Pitt 3

After ND thoroughly waxed Pitt, they dropped in the polls from 3 to 4 to Ohio State, after OSU only played and won 1 game.

ND was hitting on all cylinders with Northwestern transfer Ben Skowronek scoring on 2 long pass and runs. Freshman TE Michael Mayer had a great catch for a TD and on defense Isaiah Foskey blocked a punt for a TD.

ND totaled 434 offensive yards and Ian Book was 16/30 for 312 yds and 3 TD’s

Meanwhile both of our speedsters were sidelined with injuries.

Pitt had 3 points in the first half and that was it. ND’s defense was smothering.
