Notre Dame vs NC State Predictions

Hopefully the team that crushed USC will show up this Saturday. Hopefully ND will have a passing game plan. We’ll find out real fast if the OL can handle a front 7 that is excellent in stopping the run.

ND must pass to win this game and they must do it against the Nations #6 defense. NC State’s DE Bradley Chubb is a first round draft choice and I’m sure a bunch of other defenders will get drafted.

NC State 6-1 losing their opening game to South Carolina 35-28 then ran the table for 5 straight wins including wins over Florida State and Louisville.

So they have a great defense, but also a very good offense averaging about 35 points a game.

Their QB Ryan Finley is averaging close to a 70% completion rate. He’s thrown for 1900+ yards and 11 TD’s. He is not only accurate, but has not been sacked once this year – real quick release.

NC State is going to go all out to stop the run while blitzing Wimbush incessantly.

The game might come down to the last possession.
