ND without any running attack almost passed their way to a win. With a team like GA becoming one dimensional is inviting disaster yet the ND line allowed no sacks on QB Ian Book.

Chase Claypool and Cole Kmet were terrific – we just needed one more receiver. Where was Javon McKinley who had a breakout last week.

Major kudos to all the ND players – the OL somehow handled the GA rush while the Defensive front seven to 152 yds rushing.

The refs tilted the game to Georgia – ND had 12 penalties to 6 for Georgia. The crowd was out of control loud.

ND stood toe to toe with GA and almost landed the knock out. In a prize fight this would be a draw.

GA with 5 healthy RB’s only edged ND by 6 points. The ND kids deserve a lot of credit for a gritty performance.

Notre Dame vs Georgia Predictions

Another night game is not an advantage for ND. Together with the massive Georgia OL, it looks like QB Jake Fromm could pass at will. Then running up the middle by Georgia could prove to be the game stopper.

Clearly ND has a problem in their Defensive middle – so I would start their biggest LB and hardest hitter Bo Bauer. They have to do something and while Drew White is a complete player, he is not strong enough to fight off GA’s huge OL.

On offense I would play flat out open pass crazy and forget about the run – hurry and pass.

The ND OL has been getting pushed back in the pocket in games so far and a huge job for ND’s Center will be to hold off the 6’5′ 330 lb. Georgia NG.

ND stays with GA, but a late breaking huge TD run ends the game.
