ND 28 Miami (OH) 3
The first half was a dull lackluster effort, but ND dominated and wins in the 2nd Half.
One of the highlights of the game was a beautiful long pass from Riley Leonard to Beaux Collins – GO Ball. In fact this was the first touchdown pass from Riley Leonard since he’s been at Notre Dame.
Despite a depleted offense and the loss of key starters, Notre Dame struggled through the first half. Miami (OH) fought hard but remained outmatched throughout the game.
Quarterback Leonard scrambled constantly, showcasing athleticism that would make him a natural fit in a Wishbone offense.
Notre Dame dominated on the ground with 270 rushing yards, but the team still has plenty of room for improvement. If opponents take control early, ND could find itself in serious trouble.
All the high paid coaches better start earning their $$.
