Rain delays definitely helped ND to a 45-24 win over a scrappy NC State team.
OC Parker made the adjustments to spring the offense loose. Hartman had 4 TD’s and Estime bolted for a 80 yard TD.
Spencer Shrader had a 54 yd field goal and just missed from 56 yards.
Marist had his best game and solidified his position.

ND is in for a rough slog here and if it is wet it will be a tougher win.
NC State has very good coaches and an excellent dual threat QB. They also sport an aggressive Defense.
Look for them to go right after ND’s Center and guards. Now is the time for Schrauth at LG and our RT needs a kick in the ass.
It will not be easy to run against their DL and Hartman will get every blitz imaginable.
On Defense ND needs to contain the QB for NC State. The problem is ND doesn’t know how to tackle.
This game will be determined in the 4th quarter with a late TD pass from Hartman.
