USC Week

We start this new week with the news that USC HC Steve Sarkisian has been put on indefinite leave following some bizarre behavior. He will be replaced by OC Clay Helton. Helton has done this before so I don’t think this will hurt much.

What will hurt USC is the loss of starting Center Max Turek. He’s out for the year with a knee injury.

Don’t feel bad for USC – they have All Stars all over the place and just landed the Number one recruiting class of 2015.

And then there is QB Cody Kessler who could have thrown for 25 TD’s last year against the current ND players. The key to beating USC is getting to Kessler. ND has a non existent pass rush. Since Jaylon Smith hasn’t really done much I would just have him rush Kessler every play.

I still favor USC in this game.
